Do speakers from bethel pack their lunch at bethel before they go as guest speakers to the conventions? What if they have to fly? Do they board with cans of tuna fish, bread, cans of soda, fruit, etc...?

A 15 year old girl Df'ed for having sex with a 32 yr old married brother. Isn't that considered rape? And shouldn't charges been filed? Oh I forgot this is the Watchtower, we protect our Image and not children, I forgot that.

I thought the Watchtower allowing the witnesses in Malawi to get beaten, killed, women and children raped over a political card while allowing witnesses in Mexico to bribe officials for a military card was the most heinious. All so they could hold their land interests in Mexico. What a bunch of first class A-holes!!!! I think there are a lot of crimes that are at the top.

Lived up to be a dub all the way. Elder, reg. pioneer. Developed aniexty(panic)attacks from the STRESS the WTBS puts on people. Recieved absolutely no help from anyone in the organization. No compassion, no understanding. Slowly faded away, cared less and less about the borg. because I couldn't live up to the expectations. BTW---Since leaving the borg. I'm "panic" free. The Watchtower causes all kinds of problems in peoples lives ,assumes no responsibility and kicks you to the sidewalk.

Reading CRISIS of CONSCIENCE

at times i have to put it down because it makes me so furious.
i had a difficult time getting into it at first because its definitely not an uplifting book.

I would estimate 60% of elders and Min.Serv. in my circuit were related by blood. In 20 yrs. in the borg, I can only remember one elders child being Df', there were tons of others Df'd. One cong I was in was run by the elders wives. One elder presently isn't qaulified to walk a dog, yet his daddy has been a big deal elder for many years.

catholic church
by prgirl79 inhi well here in massachusetts where i live they were announcing catholilc churches that would be closed, due to lack of priests, and financial difficulties due to the lawsuits.
i was thinking about jw's and how they like this, they talk about look at the catholic church and what they do.
i am not defending the catholic church, but used to get pissed when my ex and his parents would talk about how wrong the catholic churches and other churches are.

Hi, prgirl79, nice to see someone from the Bay State!!
Just before I was Df'd. I went and talked to the local priest of the church I attended when I was young. Let me tell you, he was nicer than ANY elder or C.O. I talked with in 20 yrs of being a Witness. I served many years as an elder and he is a far better man than I was. I had written the church a letter of "disassociation", on the advice of the dubs and I was welcomed back into the church no questions asked. The dubs would make me sit in their kingdumb hall and not talk to me for months, maybe years. The Botchtower would do well to learn from the Catholic Church and admit its mistakes and try to reconcile with those that have been hurt by them. For years l listen to the dubs bash the Catholic church, yet I find Jehovahs Witnesses to be no better. Kingdumb hall closings would be nice to see, stick around it's not far away.

I found Jehovah's Witnesses to be rude, unkind ,lack mercy, and discourteous when I was a Jw. You mean it gets better now that I'm DF'ed. Good to know!!
